S/N 11802 was found on a farm

Jerry O'Neill of Cheshire, Connecticut sends some photos of his 1945 CJ2A he bought from a nearby farm in the fall of 2000.  He writes:  "It was still doing light duty (snow plowing and hauling leaves) on the farm with the second owner. It hadn't been on the road since about 1960, but he took good care of it and kept it garaged. I bought a brand new plow set-up for his John Deere Tractor and traded it for the CJ. She runs great, nothing but a few slight surface rust spots, and I plan to finally get her on the road this spring (2003). I always wanted a military jeep, but then I fell in love with my '45 CJ! I can't ever imagine parting with her! I'll eventually do a full restoration on her, but for now I'll take her to a few shows in her original condition."
