A two Jeep family

Kristi and Jim Rorah have two CJ2As.  They write:

"These are our two CJ2A's.  The red one is a 1945, s/n 11117.  It was in very good condition when we found it, although the column shift had been replaced.  Jim was just going to tune it up so we could use it, but we ended up taking the body off and going through all the mechanicals on it, including the engine, and replaced the transmission with a correct one and converting it back to a column shift.  We'll be using it for some (careful) trail riding until we have the time to do a complete restoration.

"The 1946 CJ2a was our first running, driving jeep.  We finished the restoration a year ago, but there are a few things we may add to it yet such as a Newgrin three
point hitch and a front bumper weight.  The accessories it has on it now include a set of early Warn hubs, a full rear pto with belt drive, the correct engine governor,
and a complete set of original top bows."
