Well Spring has Sprung here, still a good dump of snow last weekend but things starting to warm up.
The Jeep is getting plenty of use, its my "road Legal" Quad bike and is perfect going from home to the farm block about 12km away. I have about 2300 miles on it now, I did replace another condensor the other day, got some NOS Autolite ones so I am sure they will be better than the junk ones that I seem to have brought. Hopefully over summer I will get the camper trailer hooked up behind the Jeep and get back into the Mountains, more photos to come. Adrian

Well, 2500 miles on it now and still going well.
I just wanted to see what the thoughts were on Distributors. The one in the Jeep is tired, one of the very few parts that was not replaced. I do have a much tidier one ready to rebuild and also a Pertronix 6V kit sitting on the shelf along with the matching coil. The Jeep is quite stock and I am sitting on the fence deciding what to do, keep it stock or fit the electronic kit. Any replies welcome good or bad with your experiences with the Electronic mod V a stock rebuilt dizzy, I have all the parts. Cheers Adrian |

A beautiful looking "ride" Adrian.
Clearly a labour of love throughout the restoration and it shows. No doubt you will enjoy many hours of traveling in her and showing her off. There really is nothing like showing your Willys off in public! |

Adrian, that thing is NICE! A lot of elbow grease and cabbage invested in that baby. What a sharp ride. How long have you had it?

I found you and your Jeep. Still learning how to navigate this Forum. Wow, what a beautifully done project. I hope mine will be like that one day.

Thanks Ron, sure yours will be better. What colour was yours originally?
Mine was Pasture Green, the headlight trims being the area where I found it, it was about all that remained of the original body. Don't rush the job, do it properly and you'll get the best result. Adrian |
