    Posted: 30 Jan. 2016 at 3:17am

I have set the date for the 2016 Oregon Spring Fling for May 27th thur the 30th. This is Memorial day weekend so we will get a extra day to play. I hope you all can make it this year and if your Jeep is not running we always have empty seats for you to ride along. We will fill in more details as we get closer. I will add a few pictures from past years to get you excited.

Mike,

I will try and make this. I have a commitment on Saturday the 28 for the Grants Pass Boatnik Parade, but after that I am free.

Thanks,

With fuel prices so low this could be the year to do some traveling before someone blows something up or someone else calls some one a name and the whole mess shoots back up to $4.00 a gallon and we can't afford to drive to the local park!

Sorry Rick, that don't count. No offense to eastern Oregonians but to experience Oregon, you need to get in and west of the Cascades. That place is a beauty! Becky and I say we are going to live there someday.

Thing about Oregon I love is it goes from Beach (all 363 miles of it open to the public) to Mountains upon Mountains. And from Rainforest to it don't ever seam to rain here ever and everything In between We have trees dripping with wet moss and thousands of square miles of Sage Brush and Junipers

We have Salt flats and dry lake beds and we have Lava Flows you can barely walk over as they are so rugged. We have some of the tallest trees in the World (Redwoods) and some of the rarest (Myrtle and Yew). We Have sand dunes at the coast we have sand dunes in the desert. We have the 4th largest river flowing North and the second deepest lake. We have Limestone Caves and Lava Tubes and places that in a 3.5 mile walk you can see 10) Major Waterfalls and we have the Gorge. Of course we have Portland but no where's perfect (but there are some really weird things to see there too!). We grow more Christmas trees and grass seed and Hazelnuts (they are really Filberts) then any other state.

And we have to many people from some where else but what you going to do once word got out we all knew we were screwed LOL.
