Check out gel cushions. There is a lot of knowlege from the wheelchair crowd. These are designed for comfort and support over long periods. Way better than most foams. However, there are dense foams that I have seen that are amazing. No first hand experience yet, but thats the direction I'm going with my seats- either a ready made wheelchair gel or custom multi foam layed. The only question I have is the effects of shock loads on the gel. Not toughness, but if it will absorb any of the jolts. Joshua

I'm in 100% agreement with the Walcks springs. I'm 230 and never bottomed out.
