Installed the transmisson without the clutch and lo and behold the main shaft continued to spin so it was the stupid pilot bushing. reamed it out and clutch disengages now!! what a pain

I had a little difficulty installing my clutch... the clutch fingers were out of adjustment (out of spec for clearance and uniformity of clearance). These must be in spec or one of more fingers can cause interference. .
