11/8/2013 All items were sold.
I bought a nice M100 trailer so need to replenish my hobby cash by selling some stash. Willing to trade or sell a Novi governor with cast pulley, carb linkage, mounting plate, double crankshaft pulley, driveshaft and a Rear PTO and shifter and gear mechanism for a nice pair of original M38 front fenders and/or, M38 Antenna bracketry and/or a Lunette assembly for an M100 trailer and/or some cash.
An overall deal would depend on condition of trade parts, where you're located/whether or not I have to crate and mail the heavy stuff.   I'd rather trade and I'd rather do it in person - but let me know if interested.  Outright cash for everything, I'm asking $800.  NOTE: The bracket in the picture shown below is gone, NLA.
Pete (aka JEEPETE)

Here's pictures of my trade/sale items: (driveshaft & shifter mechanism not shown)

Jeepete,
FYI.  The related bracket is actually for mounting a Monroe three point hitch in the bed of the 2A.
Hard to find part.

is the mounting bracket for an F-head?  it isn't for a 2A....

would you consider selling the parts outright?

Thanks Randy - I appreciate it.  I haven't been to enough vintage Jeep events to figure out what that was !

Hey Low,
A couple weeks ago when I was trying to ID the Gov, one of the guys confirmed the bracket was for an "F" head.  I may have a line on the M38 frame I want and should know after this weekend.  Depending on that outcome I may be tempted into selling the parts outright.

is the M38 frame terribly different than a 3A frame?

I'm still learning but there are multiple large tie down loops, special mounts for the flip-down grill, hangars for drop lifting and other Misc that I've seen so far.  If I can't locate one before this project comes up in the cue...I'll try converting my 3a frame into a poser M38...but I wanted to go for authenticity first.
While we're chatting frames, I would also offer up my excellent, clean, straight, 1946 2a frame with Ohio title, completely blasted, painted with POR 15, new "V" brace and other corrections as another trade item for a nice M-38 frame and related parts...

I would be very interested in the cast iron pulley governor if you would consider selling parts. I really only need the pulley to complete my set up. Please remember me Low if snag these parts.
Thanks

Thanks for the note - I'm all set on a windshield frame....I'm looking for a decent chassis frame.
I may have to convert my 3a frame to M38 attributes after all.  It's a REALLY nice original frame and I didn't want to alter it if a decent M38 could be found, but it doesn't look good.

The "related bracket" went to a good home and is no longer available.

3a frames and m38 frames have a few differences. It would be failry difficult to make a 3a frame into an m38 frame.

     Hello,
Yes I have a m-38 frame that is excellent condition. Lets call it an unrealized project!!! I bought for a future project that didnt happen
but before I put it in storage it was sandblasted and primed. I know some time has passed.Do you still need the frame. Also I'm in NJ.
Let me know.

Please send photos of the frame and let me know if any/all brackets, shackles, bumpers/crossmembers, V-brace and pintle hook are there.
I've collected just about everything I need to convert my 3a frame but would rather not.

Jeepete,

I've also got an M38 frame I'd trade.  It's in very good condition, but not blasted and repainted.  I'll send some pics later today.

I updated my post for those of you looking for a PTO and Governor setup - my needs have changed so I edited my old post instead of starting a new one. My phone is listed down the note string below.
