I you had a fancy CNC/welding metal fab do everything short of casting type shop make a part, piece, thing, or dodad for a Willys what would it be?
Looking for something that could be supplied to the hobby that either isn't currently available (like the rear seat mount male parts) or the currently available offering is not up to par. I just gained access to a place that can do anything from a one off item to small production runs. They are looking for things to add to their products Though I would ask around here. |

American made parts by Americans that actually know and use their parts, I'm all for the whole concept. First part that came to mind was the transfer case shift pin, I paid 10$ for junk gladly pay twice as much for quality. Might want to keep it simple to start. Joe Wadoyado

It would be cool to have the true diamond plate for the side step.

I will add that to my list of possibles its exactly the kind of thing a CNC machine can be making instead of sitting idle waiting for something else to do. |

to many jeeps, parts, and accessories to list here, but apparently enough to keep me in trouble with my wife. |

Mark, I would like to see tie rod tubes for the 2A that are made in America with the correct length, thread pitch and tubular metal material. The repros are junk !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Frank

Frank that's another one to add to the list well within the shops abilities. They could offer both stock tubes as well as cross over tubes for the Saginaw steering guys.

Mark,
How about making available on an ongoing basis the backing plates to do the Geo Tracker disk brake conversion on the Cj2A. This conversion would allow people to run stock Cj2A wheels with no spacers and really be able to stop their 2A like a modern car. I made about 10 sets last year out of 3/8" steel. Pretty straight forward for a shop set up for production. Be Safe Out There. Stev

And while we're in that area, how about drag link parts that are finished smooth, with the correct length, spring tension, thread, and cotter key slots. And Ross gear worm bearing races with the correct inside diameter. BW

I vote for side steps, column shift parts, and backing plates for the disc conversion. All products I would probably purchase.

That would be great. Thank you for your consideration on this. The ones on my 2A have been bent seven ways to Sunday. Thanks again, Frank
