I can't say I have an answer to your question regarding those tires at speed, but this is how I do it.  Not a good picture, but you get the idea. Engine is forward of the trailer axles giving enough tongue weight.

That's a good way to load. Good thing jeeps are short. I've pulled double trailers with my pickup in Indiana and Ohio.

Guy at work was PCS'ing to Hawaii and sold everything he didn't want to move...got a hell of a bargain buying it and it was just one of those you could not pass up.
