So I am in the process of fitting the new quarter panel and i am having trouble fitting the back bottom next to the tail light panel. when all is fitted, it sticks out about a half an inch. My first thought is that my welding is off, or i didn't line it up properly. Put it back on the floor and notice the bottom corner is not square to the top of the panel (see pics).
Is this normal?  Here is the bottom  And top  accounting of the my camera position, it looks about a 1/4 off? any thoughts? |

I had the same issue.
On mine, after some head scratching, i realized the radius stamped into the upper portion does not match the radius on the lower edge. This created my issue. I ended up putting about 20 slices in the lower radius flange. I then reshaped the panel radius to match the upper. Then i re-welded the flange. Took some work, but i got it fairly close. Close enough for me anyway.

Even my panels from Classic Enterprises had to be altered to fit.
