Pictures are kind of big but you get the point.  I'm about ready to put the kind of right windshield on it.

There is something about mb and 2a windshields that look better than a 3a windshield in my opinion.  Its the same for me about an mb grill and 2a grill.  I feel that a 3a windshield looks too new on a flat fender.  Confused

A top (used) is one thing I have and top bows as well.  When I get my industrial sewing machine and material, I plan to make a top using mine as a pattern.

Im going to work on getting top bows and getting them mounted first. eric, are you doing two clones? im a little confused. i love how youre using original parts. you seem to have a knack for accumulating them.

Yes I am doing two.  The one on top is a 53 DJ3A that is going to be a clone.  And the frame one is a 46 2A frame converted to MB specs and will have a CJ2A motor and all else will be GPW/MB.

Mine's not really a clone, other than the grill and paint.  My goal wasn't a clone, I just liked the MB grill better, and the previous owner painted it OD green, so I just rolled with that and painted the MB grill to match :)

Do any of you clone guys have better headlights than the stock 6V  WWII ones? To me that is the only major disadvantage to the WWII look. Even the 12 volt versions aren't that bright, in my experience..
