Anyone have a suggestion on moving a 8N Ford tractor from West Springfield Mass. to Lake George, NY in the next few weeks?
The tractor has a bucket loader and rear grading plow, as well as a brush hog and york rake. The transportation I was counting on now has a broken trailer so I need an alternate. |

I'll be heading out to KS from Jacksonville NC, Saturday and returning on 3 March. Heading out with an empty U-haul and pickup. Coming back with a jeep on the trailer.

After being sufficiently shamed by having the only non-running CJ-2 at the Hudson show, I have located a correct engine in central Washington. I need to have a MB engine moved from Washington state to Maryland.

If anyone can get it from Washington to Twin Falls Id I can haul it the rest of the way to Black Hills SD next month. I'll also have a truck and trailer on the OR/ID border @ Ontario/Fruitland on June 5/6 if someone can get it that far.

There are some nice 2A tubs out west. One in San Diego the other in Oregon. A tub only will fit in a pickup truck on its side. If it could find a rest stop somewhere on East coast (PA, NY, NJ, Maryland) I could pick up. Long shot I know but I could offset alot of gas expense if someone where making the trip anyways.
Regardless, this topic is a great idea. I will try to look in from time to time and especially before my trips.

A cj5 tub rode around in the back of my truck for a couple months back in the 90s. It fit without laying it on it's side. Tailgate shut and everything. Of course, it was in a 1970 f100. Not a newer truck.

A Willys tub will fit in any FULL SIZE pickup box. My Ford F250 box was 6ft wide and a hair over 8ft long. I hauled a 3A tub from Olympia WA to Silverton OR
