I'm in as long as Grampa's Jeep holds together through the Black Hills run.

Jolly Roger, who are you? Have we met?

Stan, I think it's the "Jolly" part of the handle that threw you off. Had he used "Grumpy Rodger", you probably would have made the connection. <snap>

Stan another reminder of our meeting, other than Jeff's, we shared a camp site at Moab last year. We are working on trying to figure how to make this all work in sonoblast (Cowbell) schedule.

Thanks guys. I really think I have a disability with names. I work at a school library and I have 14 kids that work for me as student aides. I can't remember their names from one day to the next.

What I can remember is all the lyrics to 70's rock songs. Probably all my hard drive is filled up with "Sympathy for the Devil" and other stuff that I wish I could forget.

Hi all,

Just a quick update. I talked to the Rubicon Foundation. They say the trail will be accessible June 26, but likely will not be passable all the way to Tahoe. I'm monitoring the situation. Will keep you posted. Also think about options. Thoughts are appreciated.

This was Logan Pass, MT two years ago on 5 July.  My son is a little over 6' 4".  He's a lot bigger than me.   This is the kind of snow that will still be lurking on the Rubicon, I'll wager.  You folks may want to bring some shovels.  I sure wish I could go!  In a couple of years I'll be able to go for sure.
This year the MVPA Rt 66 trip has me tapped out for fun stuff.

OK everyone. Change of plans.

We are going to run the trail July 31 - Aug 3. This is four days between the Jeepers Jamboree and the Jeep Jamboree. Talked to the Rubicon Foundation and they say this is a good time to run it where there won't be much traffic.

So far four are committed:

If anyone else is interested, post up here. The plan is to start at Loon Lake first thing Monday morning and make it to Tahoe in two days. Then do the trail back to Loon Lake where our trailers will be.

This is a chance to scratch one off the bucket list with your friends.....Think about it.

Glad you change the date as i will more than likely make it if my health keeps holding on like it has. Jeff, Brian and who else goes, it will be a great time wheeling with you. Jeff, that is the time i went and it was not that bad.

Rick G
Cowbell
BAM BAM

Who's at 75%?

Who's 50/50?

I wouldn't mind getting a head count so we can maybe plan some logistics.  Even if you are just thinking about it, post up please

Yup, I hear ya. I'm burning mine up too It's sad that our bosses don't realize how much responsibility we have to do all this wheeling for the jeep community!

Lewis & Clark didn't have to take time off work to do their exploring.
Where would we be if Columbus said, "Sorry Queeny, I can't take off from work."

Maybe we need sponsors Hope you guys can swing it!

Anyone who is thinking about coming should read this page:

Note the fire restrictions.  You have to have a permit even for a gas flame.
