Glen,
when you allow it to drip, you simply open the bleeder until it starts to drip out then wait for it to stop dripping? How can you tell when all the air is out? JS

You need to visual watch it. As soon as you open the bleeder you should see air bubbles, assuming there is still air in the system. Let it drip for awhile, keeping an eye on the flow for bubbles. Once you believe you there is no more air coming out move on to the next bleeder. You may need to repeat the cycle, but usually once through is enough.

I miss the old power bleeder I used to use. Around 3 gallons of brake fluid with around 30 PSI of air over it in the tank.
It took longer to move your body to the 4 corners than it took to bleed the brakes. |
