I'm one step closer to having a top, I hope. The first door is unquestionably an early cj2a door. But the others I'm not sure about, I couldn't find any measurements but I think they may be driver side cj3a-m38 doors. Even though my jeep would use the early door I was leaning toward the late style so when I take the door off I haven't got the hinge pocket to catch my foot on. Comparing the early frame to them they seem wider at the bottom, but I don't know how different they are from the late 2a style. Would changing the upper hinge on the 3a door frame to make it work on the cj2a be possible or is the whole frame a little different?

Is that binding on the front edge of the canvas or is that coping (like a 3A).  I can't tell from the pics.

I think its coping, it feels like it has something in there like it was designed to be slid into a channel.

Very odd doors.  Steel window frames with old style zipper but 3A coping in front.  Perhaps very early 3A?  I'm not sure when the change to sewn in windows and smiley zipper started.

CJV-35 had a 3A style windshield, steel window frames, old style turn signal zipper.

I think the 3rd one with OD paint on the frame is/was OD canvas. The others looked almost gray, have to pull them out into the daylight to be sure. I'm thinking the 2nd may have been modified at one time, the weld at the hinge points doesn't look like the other doors, maybe someone added the metal window frame. I'll pull them out and check for sure.
Not going to trash them, just thought if it was a simple matter of changing the top hinge to make them work I would do it.

Here's a shot of the doors that came on my 2A, not similar to the front door edge that you have. body does have the rod pockets that bolt on. Early CJ5 or M38A1?

Looking at the doors again in your pictures it looks like:
Picture 1 is a passenger side 2A.
Pictures 2,3,4 are all drives side 3A door frames.

Checked the color, all three doors look like they were gray with gray binding. The 2a door looks like it was a greenish color with gray binding.
