Please see Questions and Answers for some topics that frequently appear on this board. As you can see, this board loads rather slowly. If you are posting something for sale, please remember to include your location since someone who might otherwise be interested might not be able to use a part or a vehicle that is too far away. Posting your location when you're selling something that needs to be hauled will save everyone's time (and reduce the number of posts on this already too-slow message board). Thanks.

: just bought my first willys. serial #171202 i think it it is a '47.there are four shift levers three in a row towards the front and one behind the others. the trans gears and transfer case seem basic enough but what are the other two for? there is a pto koenig winch on the front but no pto shaft etc on the back. any help would br appreciated. ps the winch winds up for about 1/2 a revolution when i get the forward shaft spinnng then stops until i manually rotate it a little.
: mike

I.m confused. 4 levers OK. Tall one is transmission. 2 side by side are the transfer levers. (2wd-4wd / Hi-N-Low) The one tward the rear is the PTO in-out. You said 2 extra levers. Now that makes 5. Outher possible levers. PTO ft-bk. Overdvive in-out. and back between the seats one for a 3point hitch. Winch fwd-rev. Bill
