: : what books do you guys reccomend for rebuilds? i was looking at..."Jeep Cj Rebuilder's Manual, 1946-1971" : First and most important is the service manual. Next is the prarts book. I am told M. Adual's (spelling) is exalant. All of the above in stock at most vendors. Any outher book with 2A information will be helpfull. The small Chiltons book (paperback) sold at most parts stores is ok but not complete. Good for general repair. Bill You may also like to visit some of the websites out there. Here are a couple I've found helpful. And of course the members of this list are always helpful.
