Posted by Rodney W. on August 03, 2005 at 21:04:20: I have been told by my mechanic that my Transfer Case and Front & Rear ends are pretty much wore out. I have found an old 1961 or 1962 Willys CJ5. Someone told me that I could swap them out and put them on my 1948 CJ2A. Can I do this ?? I crawled under the olf CJ5 which is nothing but a rust bucket and they look very much alike. Advice gladly taken. Rodney W.
