Before you do this you owe it to yourself to investigate how you will affect / reset the camber and caster of the steering. Toe-in will have to be adjusted too, but that's the easy part.
Camber is preset by the factory in the manufacture of the axle and is not adjustable.
You are getting ready to spend a fair amount of money on something of questionable value, so one would think that you want to be sure that you have something that is driveable and safe when you are done.
There always seems to be a ready supply of jeeps for sale that just had completed a spring over modification.
