Re: Found a old 46 jeep that has a tranmission in it like my t90 but the shifter handle is helded in place by a rounded nut which can be unthreaded. What is it worth.

Does it look like this illustration? If so, it was the waterproof version used on the M38. Since the civilian version allowed rainwater to run down the shift cane and into the transmission, the M38 shift cover was a popular swap. The covers are interchangeable, so I have no way of knowing if the entire transmissions were swapped or just the shift covers.
