Just about finished with the rebuild of this L134 (46 CJ2A vec column shift). When tearing down the engine I'd discovered how badly this currently running engine needed a rebuild. It had 6 broken valve springs, worn cam w/wiped out fuel pump eccentric, #4 060 piston was severly scuffed in non-thrust area, crank needed a next size under cut, block was cracked in a head stud area (powder welded), block needed decking from the pitting around each exhaust valve..........and oh, yeah it needed 3 studs on the manifolds drilled and tapped (#4 exhaust wasn't even fastened....wonder if that's why the piston damage). Cant believe this thing came to me in "running" condition!
