Your 6 volt MZ-4113 ( 10 tooth pinion drive gear) in good shape will work just fine with 12 volts. You must be carefull not to crank it for long periods over 20-30 seconds. Let it cool between each start attempt for 5-10 seconds. If your engine is in good shape then you'll never have to crank on it that long. The only 12 volt starter I'm aware of that will match your 97 tooth flywheel is the MZ-4124. Later closed nose starters will not fit and there pinion tooth count of 9 teeth only work with the later 124 and 129 tooth flywheels.
