Well, Greg I'd rather see this '2A returned to original, but that's just me and besides, you can't do that. At least this way we can keep one more old Jeep on the trail. I believe the V6 will go in, it's not a direct bolt-in but about as close as you'll ever find, especially since you have all the parts you may need from the CJ5. The CJ5 frame is one inch longer in wheelbase than the CJ2A, just enough to throw everything off. I tried this with my CJ3B, and wound up sticking with the '3B frame. Other than the length problem, I think everything else (pedal placement, steering gear, etc.) are about the same so the V6 should fit pretty well. Lots of '3B's have V6's in them, I don't see any reason it shouldn't work in a '2A, except for maybe a hood clearance issue. Good Luck an' hav a gud 'un. BW 53 CJ3B, 47&48 CJ2A, 53 M38A1
