: Just purchased my first 46 CJ2A, and am cleaning out the leaves to see all the holes. Gas tank has 36 pin holes that I can see so far. Engine turns over & was running 5 years ago. Just need advice on where to start in the restoration process.
: Thanks
: David
Sam has the right idea as I rebuilt mine to orig except the paint job. First get the books, they will be a great help when you are stuck. I found out why they overheated the 48 I have in 1953' as I was looking through the book ,I found that they hooked the butterfly backwards and closed the exhaust causing the cracked head. BUY BOOKS. you won't regret it. thanks Sam for telling him right
