I am competing an article on Civilian Jeep taillights. there may be something someone might be able to help me with. Sometime In 1949 a mounting bracket was used between the taillight and the Jeep body. It extended the taillight out about 1/2 inch. This bracket was also used on 3As, 3Bs, and CJ-5/6.

I have examples of the bracket used on all except the 2A. On the 2A it probably was used with the standard NACO stamped taillight housing and with the Chromed Bezel, held on with one screw.

If anyone has and original NACO taillight with mounting bracket between the housing and the Jeep body I would greatly appreciate a photo of it as installed on your jeep.
