I agree with Dave on this one. Although I've never experienced it, most experts advise NOT using copper for gas lines as exposure to fuel will make the copper brittle after a while and susceptible to vibration fatigue. In other words, it may LOOK fine right now but what's it gonna do when you hit that next bump a mile down the road? Yes, some have used copper "for years".....some people have never had a wreck, but that doesn't mean the danger of having one is not there.

Steel line in cheap, use it...it's cheap insurance.
