Patagonian Willys Restoration

Horacio E. Asborno of Viedma City, Patagonia, Argentina bought this 1947 CJ2A in 1977 when he was 22 years old.

"Many Willys came to my country after 2nd World War during the Perón Government (1945-1955), but there are only a few at this time.  Many accesories can be found, although not specifically from Willys.  I think they are from the Ford Canada truck unit, as shown by a letter about dated on 2-7-45.  The restoration in Argentina is very expensive and few people knows exactly how to do it.  I use my Willys off-road at the beach and anywhere; but remember it is 55 years old, so I take care of it."
