Just picked up two more Jeeps. A 195? CJ-5 with a hardtop and F-head. Only 58 K on it, but body is gone. Funny though, the frame is mint. And todays new Orphan is a 1983 CJ-8. Here are a few pictures of the Scrambler. Smile

Yes, all new comers have to go up on the rock pile, no matter who they are. Unless they are broken. Then we give em a pass. Wink

And it came with a brand new fiberglass tub. That just made it even sweeter. I'm not a big fan of fiberglass tubs, but may sell it to purchase a new steel tub. Undecided. This tub is usable, but to get it where I want it, would be a long drawn out task. I learned with the 2a, sometimes you have to bite the bullet and know when its time to say when on a tub. But I have to finish the 2a first, then off to the 3b or the Scrambler ????  Such a crappy place to be, wondering which to do next. ...............................

Great find on that Scrambler. I've always been a fan of them and can count on one hand how many I've ever actually seen. Good stuff!

Hey Ryan. I've had my eye on this one for a while. A friend who owns Endangered Species Jeep in Holyoke, finally got sick of me asking him all the time to sell it to me and he pulled the trigger the other day, well the rest is history. I have always wanted one of these, even before they came out, when I was a WHOLE lot younger and had my first flattie, I would say, I wonder why Jeep doesn't make a longer version as a small pickup and I have one now. The only problem is, now that I have it, I'm itching to get to work on IT and not the 2a. I gotta finish the 2a soon now, or else, theres no telling what might happen. The 3b has been pushed to third I think. Just driving this around the farm makes me want to get it on the road. Bought a chevy 307 SB today for it. Thinking 700R4 with the Dana 300 and I have 1 piece axles for the AMC20, well and maybe Allot front shafts. Well, this is just an addition that's hard to shake. Wish I drank instead.

This one has been sold/unfinished. I gave up trying to find a non rusted out tub and frame.
