It's on the bucket list, but I have to get my motor back, put it back in and test run for a bunch of miles before I make a final decision.  The last thing I want to do is go down there untested and have a breakdown and hold up the days run! Got the fingers crossed.Smile

Chuck my 3B only had 25 miles on it when I showed up at the Black Hills run. It never left me in a lurch, with your skill and expertise you'll have no problem.

Keith there is no lodging in Fall Creek. the closes lodging is  Springfield/ Eugene area or Oakridge which is a small town up HWY 58.  We do have room for camping here at my place if you would like as long as you do not have a mile long rig as the driveway is a little tricky. Hope to see you all in a few months, Mike

Keith,
I live in Roseburg (80 miles south of Fall Creek area) and normally stay in a motel for the Spring Fling. As Mike said, there is nothing in Fall Creek or nearby. Eugene is about 25 miles away to the NW and there is Cottage Grove (smaller town than Eugene) about the same distance south on I-5. You will have a challenge trying to get a room on that holiday weekend because, in addition to being a holiday, there is a huge athletic event held at that time every year called The Prefontaine Run. Most of the motels will be heavily booked early and at the summer rates too.

Last year, I chose to stay in Oakridge (about 25 miles east of Fall Creek on Highway 58) at the Best Western. The prices were cheaper than in the Eugene area and the motel was nice. Restaurants were, however, limited but the motel had a decent complimentary breakfast.
https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotels-in-oakridge/best-western-oakridge-inn/propertyCode.38097.html

Hope this helps you. Let me know if you need more info.

Darrell
