Since I was unable to go to Moab with my friends for the EJS 2017, I had to at least go out and play in my Jeep for the afternoon.

Bet that was a mesquite puncture on the sidewall of the Lt front sidewall,  sure miss Texas wheelin but I don't miss the mesquite trees. I recall a bit of Texas history learned from HS back in the 70s. You close to Adobe Walls?  read this;

The puncture wound was actually from Colorado last September. It was a sharp rock. It is the only tire that now holds air. The other three need to be aired up about every 7-8 days. They are all very tired tires. The jeep fund is low at the moment so I'm stretching these sneakers as far as I possibly can.

Yes, I live about 2 hours from Adobe Walls (rather what's left of it). My wife and I visited the site 2 years ago.

P.S. I'm not sure why some of the photos got posted sideways

About 4 minutes into the video, I hear what sounds like a typewriter clacking away.  What is that? (Not a typewriter, I know what THAT is... LOL  what's the noise?)

Mike, im not sure what that clicking/typewriter noise is. I have heard it on other videos of mine. The GoPro picks up lots of audio "noise" that I don't even hear when I'm standing right next to the camera. I'm pretty sure it's just the way I have it mounted to the jeep. It's on a magnetic base so it picks up every harmonic and rattle the jeep makes.

Rick, you have a locker of some kind in your rear axle, don't you?  I thought that might be the clicking if it was one of the kind that... clicks.

Yes, the rear is locked but with a mini-spool so there is no clicking to it. Lunch box lockers click or ratchet at a much slower rhythm than that sound of a typewriter. I really think it's just the plastic case and rattling of the GoPro. Can't hear any of those sounds when the camera is positioned off of the jeep.

There might have been a traction-enhancing modification made over the winter
