I remember a while back there were discussions regarding the proper brake hose clips, I removed this clip from the rear brake hose up under the rear crossmember, looked like it had never been disturbed and was in good condition, maybe hard to read in the photo but the patent number is 1875209, and the company logo is for the Weatherhead company I think. Hopefully this will add to the information base, I have a higher resolution photo if someone wants that.

Yeah, Gale, this is the clip we were talking about.  I need a couple--have any extras?  Right now, I'm getting by with "C" clips I got at the hardware store--no one will ever know the difference up inside that cross member.

Don't have any extras off my 2a, but I'll look around at work, I may be able to come up with something real close. I'll let you know.

Them's the ones!  All the originals were still in place on mine.

Yeah--these things are hard to keep one's attention on--I got one from Doug a few weeks ago, and now could use a couple more.  I remember these things being "coin of the realm" on all cars in the fifties.  Why are they so scarce now?
