Would someone post a photo showing where the choke and throttle cables connect to the Carter 636s carb? Thanks

Here are a couple. The second photo is a shot of the upper cable linkage from behind the Carter-WO.

Perfect! Thanks, Tim. So the 2 cables share a clamp. I had a little trouble orienting myself in your photo because there's no gunk or grime to compare to my carb, etc! 😁 thanks again! Your photos, like your Jeep work, are excellent. I can actually see the threads on the screw that secures the cable end in the second photo!

Hi Rick. Your welcome.
One thing that threw me early on was the portion of the clamp that holds the throttle cable was missing on mine. Walck's makes a nice reproduction of this piece.

Same here! That's the reason your second photo was so helpful. Thanks again! |
