Hello Everybody
My name is Nicus and I stay in Capetown South Africa I want to sell my 1947 Cj2a Original engin and galvanized chassis. Left hand drive.New metal body. New seats. New paint job. New lights, gauges and fully serviced engin. New battery, starts everyy time. Custom built A-frame for towing included. Roadworthy and licensed The restoration is about 90% complete. Window not original yet and still need to powder coat the chassis. I want R120000 for it. Negotiable If any of you know of someone that might be interested, please let me know. I understand what you are describing but the 'Lefty' terminology as applied to CJ2A's is generally describing a particular 1948 model that has the spare mounted on the left side and the bow pockets on the passenger side.
These models were made only during part of the 1948 production year. I understand you are describing driving position but just wanted to clarify your description. Nice Jeep. |

Although it is very rough, this is a "LEFTY".
The bow pockets are visible on the right side and the tire mount is on the left, which makes it a "Lefty". Only made for a short time in 1948. |

Did you just re-skin the upper part of the windshield frame to provide a lip for the rubber gasket or ??
