You would think after a couple yrs I would not screw up a post.I posted a few pics of a 2a  complete wiring harness I needed 2 so I made 4 . They have the orig  cloth covered wire in the corect color  (taken from a 46&482a) correct  guage of wire and terminals and  small sleve over the terminal which is crimped and soldered. Both harnesses are for keyed coils  which can be changed to block mounter coil if you let me know. Also is made for one tail light . no heater wiring . The harness  has wiring for the fuel  and amp guages but not the oil pressure or temp because the orig. was a mechanical ga.  price is $165.00 each If interested  pm me anytime

What are the chances of getting one with the driver side heater wiring connections included?

If  I knew  where the wirs  comes from  I may be able to add that wire.  most likly comes from Ign. switch  and runs oner to drivers side . probably only one wire to a heater switch  then to heater

Mogger when you say it is cloth covered wire, it is the modern vinyl covered in cloth, right? (It is far superior to the original just cloth wire yet indistinguishable once connected up)

Got my wire harness.Thumbs Up Looks very nice as compared to the new harness I got for my MB. Look forward to hooking it up. I also liked the fact it was more affordable than other reproduction harnesses. The 2A page strikes again!Tongue

Rich,
Just ran across this post.  Thought I recognized the name and jeep from Curtis's.
I have a DJ3A that is next in line for a rebuild and will see what ya can do on one of your harnesses.
Nice work.

I hope you decide to keep making them as they look SUPER, correct, and very well thought out!

I'll need one here at some point, and would rather support members on here first when at all possible...

Hey guys, I am new in this forum and would like to start sharing the restoration of my recently purchased 1947 cj2a. My homecountry is Brazil, to where many cj's were imported in the 40's, 50's.
I finally found one in very good shape, many nice original items and a good candidate for a nice resto.
Now my question is: after all these years since this thread was released (cj2a wiring harness) - is there anyone left for sale?
thanks and all best.

hey, let me know how to pay this harness. As I am in Brazil - no way to send a bank payment - I would ask if you take paypal for payment. Maybe you do have an ebay bay account, no?. Let me know.
Thanks, nice regards. Shipping to a friend of mine who lives in Springfield VA, USA (ZIP 22150)
