Hi Heath,
The dual wheel adapters for CJ2A-3A came in a few different designs. The original cast iron ones came in a couple lengths and allowed the wheels to be bolted on in the normal configuration w/valve stem out board. Mine have 7-1/4" spools
Windyhill has the same style in cast iron, however his spools are a bit longer by about 1/2", I believe. That moves his wheels apart a bit.
The aftermarket spools that I think were made by "Hickey" back in the day, were aluminum and were a bit shorter which required the outer wheel to be reversed so it could be mounted.
That type is what is now being listed on E-pay. Item number:302770469596
I hope this is of some help to you.

I was thinking it was Hickey that made the aluminum adapters.

Man, that doesn't seem that long agoShocked...and yes the boys can both drive  the 2A at that age.
Yes Hickey made the aluminum ones, I had a set at one time but sold them. I like the cast ones the best, mine are a wide enough to run 6:50x 16's or 7:00's.
