John was a great guy and very diligent in his work. He literally wrote, and published, the book on jeep tools and there is much of his information stickied in the tool forum on the Gee (g503.com). He used to set up at the Gilbert PA show every year which is where I got to know him. He passed away a few years ago and left a big hole in the military jeep community.

x2 on John Barton. A huge contributor to G503s and much of his stuff is applicable to the cj2a community. He is missed!
