That red 4-door JK with full hardtop and full hard doors weighs about 2,000 lbs. more than the CJMB.  That's just too much to be a Jeep, IMO.  Though I'd still take one over any regular car.

Been looking at a Rubicon version, just can't part with that much money. I could buy at least 10 CJ's with that much money

Guess it depends on what else is in the stable and your driving needs.  My wife and I usually don't get more than a couple hundred miles from home and those trips as likely or not have some wheeling at the end of them.  We bought the JKUR to replace the daily driver and other than not-so-good mileage and a somewhat gutless 3.6, it performs well in that task.  With a relatively mild MOPAR 2" lift and 35's, you would be very surprised where it will go.  Frankly, just about anywhere I can get in my 3B on 33's and lockers.  Very seldom is that extra size a problem.  Not that Fiat couldn't have made it a lot better for very little additional cost-----
