Thought everyone would enjoy this video taken at the Hueston Woods rally in 2018. OSHA approved! |

I don't know about everyone, but I sure did. Thanks, Nick. BW

It is NOT a Jeep Willys! It is a Willys jeep.

The guy doing the welding should have been wearing a double-breasted suit like the guy in the old Willys photo. Would have looked so much more authentic that way!

I tell everyone I meet at shows around the Midwest that they should see John's demo if they want to know about Farm Jeeps. Seems every time I visit, John has something new to show us. Thanks for posting!

Thanks so much for sharing this informative video! The Willys rear PTO sparked much creativity in the post-WWII equipment aftermarket. Those monster buzz saws, without any safety guards, freak me out every time I see one being demonstrated. So does the guy with the red shop rag hanging from his back pocket--so many devices among the old Jeeps here that could catch that rag with unfortunate results...

I had never seen a hydraulic powered chain saw or even herd of one before. Really neat. Quite the show thanks for sharing.

That is the way I thought about them until I got one and hooked it up to my 2a. Fear is gone, but careful attention remains. Jim

It sort of scares me to look at some of the old photos. A guy running a metal lathe wearing a tie. Bad idea. I still have all of my fingers by luck or being a bit smarter. I have had a few people borrow tools and I warn them about things. Make sure the guard is down (One guy didn't do it and it ran a few laps around his feet). They are in the class B bunch that need supervision. I had other things to take care of. The class C group were shown the door. I never had to mess with the class A group. They knew what to do and I just would ask them if they needed anything. I knew when to stay away. (I ran a couple jobs that came in for over a million bucks. No idea how that came about?)
