trying to decide on paint. I know I want a flat color. I like the military greens with everything but the body in flat black. I was also thinking about a darker gray. does anyone have pictures of there jeeps done in flat paint. I like a more weathered look new paint sometimes is a little to pretty.

thanks for any pictures

My '47 in Krylon flat green. The middle of the hood shows the flat dark green it was.

Here's a wild idea: '92 Wrangler Sahara models could be had in a "Sage Green Low Gloss Metallic" paint.  It was more of a "matte" rather than "flat", but it made for a kind of different take on military green.

Just throwing it out there.
There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable

You can add a flattening agent to most any paint to achieve the look you’re seeking. That should give you a few options.

If you can't get there in a Jeep, get a motorcycle!

You can also do use a matte or semi gloss clear coat over any color you like.

this is what I did... painted light tan and clear coated with a semi-gloss finish. Be aware that, if you wax the paint, it will have a gloss finish.
