I would like to be able to run a 215/85/R16 MT tires on my Willys. Most of these require a 5.5" to 7" rim width. After looking around for a proper looking rim, I found these:
I am curious if anyone has used these on their Willys and whether these will fit over my 11" X 2" brake drums. Thanks, M

I could imagine that this is the Omix-Ada wheel and they are 16x5.75 in truth. Could be worth letting them confirm the stated size...

If the wheel is correct for a 6.00 16 tire it will not be a 6 inch width wheel. More like 4.5 inches wide if I remember correctly. Get the measurement between the inner surfaces of the rim where the bead sits. If you Google how to measure wheel size you will find a diagram of how to measure and where. I do not believe Morris is correct.

You can run 215/85 r16 on stock 4.5in wheels. I am doing to and 2 other guys from my club without issues.

Are these wheels for use with a tubeless tire? The ad didn't mention it.

I believe that they are, but I do not 'have it in writing'.
F Bill, I know how to measure a wheel. I did NOT know that these 215/85/R16 could be used on a stock 4.5" rim. I do have 5 very good slotted factory wheels, but wanted to run tubeless trail tires, and all the pecs I read for 215/85 tires call for wider rims.

If it's the Omix wheel, it needs a tube. But you can run a tubeless tire with a tube without problems. I think 4.5" is too narrow for a 215 tire. It may fit more or less but its not a good idea in my eyes and also may look a little odd...

The 215 works great on the m38 16x4.5 wheels. Does not look strange. Here is my jeep as it currently sits with them.

Ok, I have to admit it really doesn't look strange - my apologies...
