Walcks sells these http://walcks4wd.com/oil-filter-base-spin-on-style.html All you need is to make a bracket. I went another way I bought the spin on adapter from Walcks and then Made an Aluminum bracket to mount the Filter down low on the right side so I could use a NAPA Gold 1704 same as a 1050 but half again as long so it holds more oil. |

This is pretty cool. I'm replacing my motor now and thinking about changing my filter.

This one mounts remote, but I can make them go in the OE position. I just prefer it on the firewall.

Assume it mounts to the OF bracket at the top front of the engine, right? Could be used remote?

this is something I designed after stumbling across the spin on type oil filter bkt
willys had in the early 60's. allows you to run a spin on filter from napa p/n 1050 iirc. I can get the box outa the shop if anyone wants to know. its designed to keep the exact flow needed for the partial flow system. if you use a chevy one for a full flow system your oil pressure will drop. ive kicked around the idea of selling these, they are one piece all milled parts of the utmost quality. my father in law runs a cnc shop and were both machinists. they are made to accept the factory soft hoses but I run steel brake line for safety, seen too many engines fail from the hoses. im still playing with the mount, this one was designed to mount to the firewall or frame.
