Decided it was time to drive a Jeep with a heater LOL

The 3B had been sitting since summer so I put a battery in it and checked the oil.

Drove some trails on his property.

On a trip to town Dad and I stopped at a side by side dealer to check out the new mahindera jeep.
This was on the show room floor.

We also went to Idaho motor Poole and looked at some Jeeps.

Love it Ben. Tell your dad a rear locker first. If he wants more then by all means put one in the front. I would remove the interlock pin out of the transfercase at the same time you do the front. It's like a secret weapon when you add in the front and woah! Shocked she's now a tank. Steering is the issue up front. Go easy on the rear, they will tend to break the long axle if you stress it. Scouts came with rear lockers, and had a sticker on the dash that warned you to add in the front axle to avoid axle breakage. Then, if that's not good enough, Terra Flex low 18's . Very cool. You need a 1 1/4 intermediate shaft case and some grinding to install, but then it becomes even more fun. Just don't follow Stan and Jpet. Those two will learn you something. LOL, Oilly

PS, I love your working Jeep Ranch. You need a M38a1 and a M151 Mutt.

I stopped in Sturgis at the Indian Motorcycle dealership. They sell the Roxor. I liked it immediately. They liked my '51 M38 immediately------LOL. I parked it next to the Roxor lineup and didn't ask if I could. The owner lady even came out to look. They all commented on the "manley" smell of Canvak in the morning. I then got to thinking $ and realized that the Roxor costs more by about 5 grand, than I had in my finished M38. That deflated my enthusiasm. Be fun to play with a Roxor, but I need to wait 10 years for a used one. I see they now have a lifted model. I will say the folks at the dealership were very cordial and pleasant. I think their sales team will do well with customers.

So, Ben, keep sniffing out those old Willys and cool stuff. The photo of the little cats in the field is good enough to frame. Thumbs Up  Oilly

Ben, thanks for sharing--love the pics of your property, it's a vintage-equipment paradise. We all wish we had such expansive land to drive our jeeps off road.
