I'd be interested in that. It would be a few hundred miles closer for me.

Definately interested, been curious about that area for a while. Not too far from home and some of the locals go down and ride UTVs and 4 wheelers there. Have NOT done my homework yet, are rollbars, seatbelts etc. required?

. Interested . . if this happens, I would try to make it. (even though I have no doors or heater) Would we have to plan on camping, or is there more wimpy lodging nearby?

I’m not suggesting that you skip fall 2019. I’m just saying, I usually go to Badlands this time of year but Windrock is 6 hrs away and doable. I’d probably get a nearby hotel Friday night and head home Saturday after we are finished.
I’m not sure if this is a hijack or not. Let me know jeeper50. If so, I will move it to a new thread. |

I will tentatively plan to attend, but there are a couple issues that might override Jeepin' that weekend. . . . Most important of which -> the arrival of our 2nd grandchild, predicted one week before this date.

I just got my January 2019 JP magazine and this park is featured in this issue. I’d love to go and do this park, but I can’t really make it this December. It’s too far for me to only wheel one day. Plus, it has 73,000 acres and over 300 miles of trails! Maybe I could think about it for 2019. When is peak foliage time in Tennessee?
