Fire burning near home.  Right now I'm cut off from two of my favorite National Forest areas for exercising my CJ2A.  Cry

Hey Jak - I'm down here in South OC.  Doesn't matter about the fires, since it's over 100 degrees out there anyway.  Not much fun in an open topped (un-air conditioned) jeep.

Plenty of people have been silly enough to ask me why I ordered A/C when I bought my Wrangler in '89.
There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable

Wrangler 89?? You might be in the wrong forum (lol)  When I'm in my 47 CJ it's 1947 and A/C was NOT an option!

Well, at this time, both my Jeeps are Unreliable.  The '48 won't even get me to the end of the block and the '89 won't get me to the next town.  The A/C in the '89 does work, though!

Also, I'm no danger to the forest if I can't get there.
