Since Lee, Jpet, and I have almost 5 hour drives, has anyone thought of arriving Friday evening and only driving 5 hours on Sat to return home instead of doing a total of 10 hours on Sat.

Fltfndr, I did consider heading out Friday, but after working all day it's not appealing and I end up driving in the dark anyway!...

I picked 9 am just because I ddint think anyone would be there any earlier than that, but I'm game for earlier if you guys want. Also, I can offer an over night place to stay for those that may want to travel back home on Sunday. I have available three beds and lots of floor space throughout my house for anyone wanting to stay over night.

Gentlemen,

Anyone living roughly between Des Moines and Madison interested in hooking up and riding together, let me know. Not looking forward to driving the 5 hours each way without a co-pilot.

Thank you Joe and your wife for your hospitality.  Great to share time with folks that are afflicted with the same old Jeep habit.
Good health to all.

I love going to Joes to hang out. Thanks to Julie for lunch. I brought a couple of projects that Joe was able to fix for me. Wow! Thanks Joe! It’s amazing what you can accomplish with the right tools. I met Jared Telfer, the guy who brought the FC to Joes, turns out he’s the brother of a patient of mine. Small world. What other hobby motivates people to drive like 5 hrs to come hang out somewhere all day to just talk?
It was a long fun day. I got home OK. That darn 30 mile drive can be really taxingBig smile

I had a great time seeing all of you as well. Joe, you were a great host your shop and collection are quite impressive. Thanks to your wife a good lunch, I didn't expect the royal treatment like that. It was well worth the drive.
