So today while bouncing around in the dump truck I got to thinking about how I think about and refer to my Willys.
So everything from the frame down is CJ-5 or modified CJ-5 So the Tub front clip etc Looks 2A (well kind of actually more 3A with the shaved top bow pockets and no tire mount) The windshield is 3A The engine is from a DJ Brakes Wagoneer Axles 2A and 5 so I think I have a CJ-2A-3A-5-DJ with a 2A title can I stay? Most people wouldn't know the difference between any of the early models anyway.
My 3B is mostly stock parts except for the V6, over drive, PTO winch and 11' brakes. The Commando is as it came off of the floor except for the Warn winch and a PO built a skid plate for the gas tank along with an odd size receiver hitch. People ask me if it is a Scout or a Bronco. My MB was whatever it was after in went through the motor pools. F scripted parts and MB parts. I have a 1961 CJ3B and a 1969 C101. Call it what ever the title says it is |

Funny....i was just thinking about this the other day in reference to my project.
46 Tub frame is actually an early 3B frame U motor from a wagon trans is from 1955 t-case - 1961 Axles appear to be 46 brakes are Ford, Chevy, Jeep Windshield frame is a 2A (although i'm debating a 3A frame at the moment) major Jeep salad....

Unsolicited advice: keep the 2A w/s frame. It's so cool (in more ways than one) to swing the glass out if you have the top on and the back window rolled up. The flow-through ventilation doesn't ruffle your hair. |

There's a reason it's called Ol' Unreliable
