On road gearing is way too low it needs an overdrive.  3200 rpm is 58 mph.
I have the head milled down to 74 cc and zero deck on this pistons so this gives me .029" between the valves and the head.
If I did the math right with a .070 head gasket, the engine has around 8.4 compression.
Cold cranking compression is 150 psi +3 - 0 psi between all four cylinders so it is sealed really well.
Also it will only run on 93 octane gas.

As for wheeling I have not had it in the mud, but was out playing in the snow last winter.

Is that corrected MPH given the overall gearing change as a result of the larger diameter tires?

Will it easily pull those kind of speeds?

Really!  I would have to drive off a cliff to reach that speed.

Cool rig none the less, post some more pics as you progress. Maybe specs too

Actually I wheeled with a guy a few years back that ran a L134 in his flatty rock rig and it pretty much kept up with the best of them.  I have a couple videos of him, all though they dont really show the true capability of his rig.  On this particular trip he out wheeled most of us.

Unfortunately I don't have any other videos or build info of his rig.  I'll see if I have some photos.

which is the favorite among you that have them. 2.5" or 1" suspension lift?

One day I am going to put one on mine but I have not really picked if I want taller or short lift.

Mike's "car crush" post reminded me of a couple I had.  Tried going over the hard way.  Didn't quite make it!

And here are a couple of my brother's project.  Basically a show / fun Jeep under construction.  Working on the cage now.  Impressive in a HUGE way!
