Has anyone moved the axle from the original location mounted on the top of the leaf spring to the bottom to gain more clearance? Can this be done without any problems?

swapped mine to pick the trailer up to match a lifted truck. Easy flip, should take less than half an hour.

I did it on a 416 trailer (same principle). Easy to do and get the diameter of the axle tube in lift.
