Ha!  There's something right about $9/btl wine and $13/lb steak that centers the soul...

I got this old bone for Valentines day.  Not much meat on a NOS rear drive shaft.

Since Silverton has become a bloated bedroom for Portland going out on a night like tonight is nuts. We completely spaced it last year and ended up at out favorite Mexican Restaurant on Valentines. And while it was fun watching members of the family that had been roped into working bump into each other trying to keep up with the fact the place was so packed the waiting area had no seats left. There service is normally excellent. This year instead of waiting over an hour for dinner we are going out tomorrow night.

There was discussion about going out, phone calls were made, and in the end we decided that the rest of the world was nuts LOL.  One place wouldn't take our reservation without our agreeing to their $120/couple (sans alcohol) "Valentines day special" Wacko

Mrs mbullism decided she could buy a lot of ribeye for far less Thumbs Up

There's more meat there than you might suspect. The tubing is .120" wall DOM tubing.

You did score a real nice Valentine's Day present though!

My wife and I did the same thing we did last year for Valentines: we went to Zantigo (a local Mexican fast-food place).  She's pretty low maintenance!

Full disclosure, our 29th wedding anniversary is this Sunday, so we'll do a little more then.  Maybe go to Olive Garden!
