We'll take a look at making more. Maybe some the size of our prototype and some with more surrounding steel. Looking to measure ours this week against several local original examples to ensure their spot-on. I ordered the drain plugs from Walcks today because I'm curious about the fit. Thanks for the comments..........

Have the patch piece (all one piece including step) tacked in, drain hole was an exact match and the Walcks rubber plugs fit like a glove

Jasons been playing with a machine press roller to duplicate the original rear floor. Should be ready soon. Front passenger floor is cut out waiting for center support and channels to support new floor.

Thanks Chad, Agree with your comment, however As you know the work you do on your own rig is personal, and more times than not, cost prohibitive. I'm sure we could make a few for local 2a owners but by the time we figure our actual time and labor, it becomes a "Who would pay that!!!" Case in point are the side drain patch panels. 6"x4" that we used as prototypes. By the time you set up the dies, the machine and pay for the proper gauge metal and try to figure in individuals needs for different size panels we're already at close to $20.00 to $30.00 a pair. Suppose we could just make two different size panels: small and large. Don't know if there's a market at that price. Our entire one piece patch panel with side step is about the same price or more as being sold retail. Just that Jason has pride saying he made it..and thats good enough for me.

Just think how proud he could be if he made me a drivers side rear quarter.

Well its been a while since we've updated this thread. While we're making progress, its been slow since we're only working on Briar Rabbit one day a week. Just thought I'd update some of the body work photos. Started with the floor channels and worked forward to the pass. floor.

Moved over to the drivers side and replicated as best we could. Gonna be a lot of welding coming up. Jason finished the rear floor and we hope to move to the back end once we get the body re-braced on the rotisserie.

Thanks for the remarks Dennis, when your working on such a small area for so long, its hard to step back and appreciate the progress.
